To learn more about what I do in the studio, please visit the news page and check out the How-To video.  It aired on public television in June 2013 and shows screen printing in action!  Also, watch this site for more links to me at work in the studio.
a one-woman studio, focusing on the intersection of words, images and colors. My art work includes screen printed meditative/contemplative wall hangings, heliographic prints of the perennials of my gardens, hand-dyed fabric and batik.

What Is Working Me Now

Currently, I find myself drawn to hand-dyeing fabric, mostly silk, but also cotton.  After I hand-dye the fabric, I screen print words and images to create the finished piece.  For example, I have silk scarves where the ends say "love and peace," "faith and trust" and "breathe and awake" - one word on each end.  I am also beginning to hand dye and print women's tops - stay tuned for more on what is working me.
