Sue Caulfield lives for time spent in creativity, whether it is in her studio or her garden. She loves to explore new ways of blending fabric, shapes, and designs, as well as blending the whimsical image with beautiful fabrics, creating items enjoyed by people of all ages.
Sue’s work focuses on elaborate one-of-a-kind wall hangings, many which incorporate contrasting colors and patterns. This reflects some of Sue’s basic philosophy – that life is far too interesting and diverse to make things that match.
Sue does all her sewing on vintage Singer sewing machines, including two featherweight machines from the 1930s. Another steady presence is a Model 15-91 Singer that was given to her by her grandmother. This 1937 machine has sewn many beautiful pieces over the last few decades and still pulls its weight today.
Sue enjoys collaborating with clients and discovering new colors and possibilities.
